power shake

This green shake is based on a recipe from what is called the morning drink and is full with natural proteins, vitamins,minerals,I changed it a little. Great for loosing weigth and healing tonns of problems. And yummmy. !!! so i think it is a great one for post partum moms and their families. Thank you Natalie for sending me the original article

-1/4 th of lemon
-piece ginger
-bit water and juice
-1 tbs olive oil
-1/2 tsp spirulina
-seasonal fruit

mission statement

My mission is to prepare,guide and empower expecting parents and their families for their upcoming birth. I help them figure out what is important to them during labor, delivery and postpartum and help them realise this as close as we can. I want women to know and trust their bodies and the natural process of birth. A big part of my mission is to put fun and magic back in the sacred time of pregnancy and birth and accomplish this by offering different services but mainly: Doulaservices and Belly and Baby casting.

Being a doula is a special breed

As doulas we give up xmas evenings,reschedule our kids birthday parties, work on new years mornings, sunday afternoons, saturday nights at 3am. We drive in snowstorms , sleep on sofas, work for sometimes 30 hours shifts, drag our kids out of their beds in py;s, drop them of at the the sitter unexpected, dont drink at parties, cancel outings, skip 2 or 3 meals a day sometimes, sleep with 2 phones next to our beds,if we get to sleep at all BUT ...i also get to witness the miracle of birth, see a new dad cry, get to rock a newborn and help new parents heal their pasts, create awesome families. What else could i ask for........I love being a doula!

first baby of 09

Very please to announce that once again i had the honnor of assisting with yet another amazing birth. Congratulations to angie and ricardo with the birth of their son Matteo this morning.
Their baby is the first one in the G D hospital of the year and the first one for me in 2009.
